Tom O'Gorman fell in love with racing at a very young age while standing along the fences at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course with his father. Tom was introduced to SCCA Autocross competition at age fifteen, where he began his motorsports career. After seven years of autocross action, Tom took the big step into road racing in 2014. A successful crowdfunding campaign in 2015 propelled Tom into professional racing a year later.
Tom was a factory driver for Honda from 2016 to 2019, where he raced IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in TCR and SRO America (formerly Pirelli World Challenge), winning SRO Driver's Championships in 2016 and 2018, the IMSA TCR Pole Award in 2018 and tested the Acura NSX GT3 EVO with Honda in 2019. He also has six National SCCA Autocross Championships to his name, was the 2013 SCCA Driver of the Year and most recently won the 2021 Tire Rack One Lap of America.
Alongside his racing career, Tom has worked as a professional driving coach, racing commentator, development driver, brand ambassador and professional driver for a variety of automotive programs since 2014. He currently races a Honda S2000 in the Gridlife Touring Cup.
