A resident of Philadelphia, PA, Kurt started racing cars when he worked at a Chevrolet dealership, specializing in Corvettes. While autocrossing and doing time trials in a Corvette Z06 he caught the eye of the Phoenix Peformance race team. 

 

He began racing a Mustang GT in Touring 2 class, qualifying to race at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in 2013 where he started on pole and finished 2nd. This performance brought him to the attention of Calvert Dynamics, resulting in a place in the Continental Sports Car Challenge in IMSA for 2014, co driving two cars each race, starting in one Ford Mustang GS car and finishing in another. 

 

Kurt continued with Calvert Dynamics in 2015 in the Pirelli World Challenge Series in a Ford Mustang GTS, scoring one win, two poles, four podiums and four fastest laps. 

 

Kurt continues in SCCA club racing in the Majors and Super Tour Series in the Touring 2 class, where he has driven multiple generations of Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, Chevrolet Corvettes and even a Pontiac Firebird. He has won 46 National SCCA Touring 2 races including two National Championships and three Northeast Division Championships.
