When and Where?

Mar 01, 2020, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Apex Motor Club, 22408 N Ralston Rd, Maricopa, AZ 85139

What's the Format?

Join McLaren of Scottsdale for a chance to drive at the exclusive Apex Motor Club in Maricopa.

You will have the opportunity to learn about the features your car and understand its perfomace capabilities in the safe environment of a race circuit guided with instruction from Track Rekord.

Learn about the fundamentals of car control and track safety, before heading out onto the circuit where you will be introduced to the track via a guided tour, explaining lines, braking points and safety features. You can then do lead-follow exercises following your instructor in the lead car, greadully increasing speed while learning the appropriate lines on the track and will progress to open lapping with or without an instructor at your side, as appropriate. If you alredy have track experience you can proceed directly to open lapping, working with your instuctor to improve lap times, using video and data analysis to see where you can improve.

You will also have the opportunity for “hot-lapping” with a professional driver at the wheel, and drag racing at the end of the day.

Places are limited to ensure a good student-to-instructor ratio and availability is on a first-come first-seved basis, so register as soon as you can. If you are already an APEX member, a discounted rate is available. Please contact drivercoaching@trackrekord or call 203-326-0188 to obtain a discount code.

Refreshments throughout the day, breakfast and lunch are included.
