What's the Format?
We will have exclusive use of Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on April 8 and 9 - no run groups or sessions, we can run as we please. Clockwise and counter-clockwise (but of course not at the same time!). The track will provide corner workers and emergency personnel, which, along with the required liability insurance, will be included in the price.
The final cost is $1,500 per car for two days - feel free to bring non-driving guests with you at no additional charge. Driving guests are welcome at $500 per additional person. Steaks and beer on Wednesday night will be included in the cost, but you should bring all other food required for the weekend- the track is a little remote, so plan to spend the entire time there. Theril Lund has graciously offered to provide us all with bottled water for the weekend, so no need to bring that. We have confirmation that fuel and tire changing facilities are available at the track.
One-bedroom cabins are available at the track for $180 per night. Rent directly here. If you want to bring a pet, they have five pet-friendly cabins for $25 per night extra (there is also an enclosed dog park next to the paddock). All the details are on their website. The cabins have fridges so you can store food/water/extra beer there during Wednesday (checkout is at 9 a.m. on Thursday).
Track Rekord will be there to provide all the coaching you need and to take pictures/video to memorialize the weekend. The coaching is included in the two-day cost so make the most of it - video and data analysis is included.
There will be a brief driver meeting at 8:30 a.m. on the 8th. The meeting will cover safety details for the two days, including passing protocols (if you are faster, pass safely anywhere).
The track owner, Mickey, may organize an off-road event for April 7, we will provide more information on this shortly if anybody is interested.
All payments are nonrefundable, as our expenses are fixed, payable in advance, and are evenly shared by everyone. The $750 balance payment is due on Sunday, March 8, 2020.

Initial non-refundable deposit of $750 to be paid by February 3, 2020. The final balance, which will depend on the final number of participants, will be payable by March 8, 2020. All payments are non-refundable as we have to make non-refundable payments to the facility
