Now in its eleventh iteration and back at Radford Racing School for 2025, this year we aim to keep the momentum going while raising as much support and awareness for Childhelp as we can.
Your day at Radford Racing School with SportTruckRV and Track Rekord will include:

All-day on-track sessions in groups arranged by track experience

Off-track instruction and advice
-
Lead-follow behind an instructor as needed
-
Hot laps with one of Track Rekord's pro drivers

Open lapping
-
A light breakfast and lunch, with drinks and hors d'oeuvres available for all, once we are off-track

A timed autocross course

Lunchtime police chase with an opportunity to ride along (prebook here)

How to prepare for the day:

Make sure your car is ready for the track:
-
check tire condition and pressures​
-
tighten lug nuts
-
check brakes
-
check fluid levels
-
fill up with gas
-
remove loose items from the interior
-

Make sure you are ready for the track:​
-
bring a helmet (a limited number will be available for loan, but if you have one, please bring it)
-
bring sunscreen​
-
stay hydrated
-
attend the drivers meeting (we will explain how the day will work, safety, flagging etc.)
-
start slowly and build on your day
-
listen to your instructors
-
be courteous to other drivers
-
take a break if you are tired
-

A note regarding alcohol: While we are serving alcohol at the event (drinks will be available from lunchtime​), if you want to drink you must surrender your wristband and will not be allowed on track or the autocross course either as a driver or passenger. In the interest of everybody's safety, please respect this rule and be prepared to surrender your wristband if requested.

7:30: Venue open and registration - breakfast available in Events Center

8:30: Drivers' meeting (group assignments here)

9:00-12:00: On-track sessions (you will get three 20-minute sessions during that time)

12:00-1:00: Lunchtime police chase

1:00-3:00: On-track sessions (you will get two 20-minute session during that time)

3:00-4:00: Open track for all
-
4:00: Hors d'oeuvres and drinks
-
6:00: online auction closes

The Autocross:

New for this year, the autocross gives you an exciting chance to race against your friends and the clock
-
a two-lap twisting handling course is laid out with cones​

The Police Chase:

Back by popular demand, the Mesa Police will once again take to the track to try to catch the "Perp"
-
​in return for a donation, see what it's like inside a police cruiser as they chase down a criminal; or

jump in the getaway car to get the ride of your life while being pursued by the law

While we aim to make the day as safe as possible, on-track incidents do happen occasionally. You should be aware that typical insurance policies do not cover for damage that occurs on a race track, even if it is a non-competitive event, such as ours.
