
Alec began racing go karts at the age of 5. Being a native of Texas, he grew up racing the local karting tracks. Eventually he grew to run national and international karting races including Supernationals, Rotax Max Nationals and World Finals with Team USA in 2009.
In 2011, at the age of 15, Alec transitioned into professional racing in the Pirelli World Challenge racing series in the GTS (now GT4) class. Across 4 seasons in GTS Alec had one pole and five podium finishes. In 2015 Alec moved into the GT3 Cup Class, and during two seasons in GT3 Cup he amassed 15 wins, 31 podiums, 7 pole positions and a championship win in 2016.
In 2017 Alec moved into GT3 racing in a 911 GT3R in 2 seasons with GT3 Alec had two wins and five Podiums. In 2019 Alec became the first American to race full time in the GT4 European series.
