Childhelp Charity Track Day

Thank you to all who joined us on May 1, 2022 at the Radford Racing School in Chandler, AZ for the SportTruckRV Charity Track Day Benefitting Childhelp

Taking place at the Radford Racing School in Chandler, AZ for the first time, we had access to many of their first class facilities, including:

The 15 turn, 1.6 mile Main Track, which includes the Maricopa Oval and Carousel
A timed autocross course on the skills pad
Climate controlled event center and trackside classroom
Outdoor patio

As in past years, we ran multiple run groups allowing for all skill levels, from novice to expert and ended with a 'happy hour' when the track was open to all. Once off track, drinks and hors d'oeuvres were available, as the bidding in the online auction continued furiously.

Now in its tenth iteration and at a new location for 2022, this year we passed $1 million raised over ten years for charity at this popular event.

We had a great day together on track while raising money for Childhelp, a charitable organization whose goal is to meet the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children. Childhelp focuses their efforts on advocacy, prevention, treatment and community outreach.

THE LAST TIME

Held in October, 2020 at Apex Motor Club with over 40 cars on track and many non driving guests, we raised more than $100,000 for Childhelp.

We changed the format of the event to ensure that everybody was safe and appropriately distanced, dropping the dinner and live auction at the end of the day for a more relaxed ending and an online auction.

Everybody agreed the revamped format was a huge success. Thanks to everybody who participated and contributed to a great cause to make the day what it was. Thank you Apex!
