Some people excel in a sport, yet, not all decide to share that expertise with others. Sebastian Moreno does both.
He ́s been driving professionally for over 20 years and coaching for 16. His first time racing was in a Go Kart back in 1995, winning several championships. He then made the step into single seaters in 2004 by participating in the Formula Renault Argentina series where he was awarded Best Rookie. In 2005 Sebastian took part in the Spanish Formula 3 Series and in the Spanish Formula BMW Series the following year, where he scored wins and had podium finishes. He also made the move to endurance racing, winning at the 400 Kilometros Prototype Class. From then on he has taken part in many competitions including Formula Cars, TC2000, Prototypes and GT cars, where he recorded podium finishes in 6 hour races.
Sebastian has extensive experience in the realm of coaching. As part of his training programs, he uses state-of-the-art racing simulators. Sebastian has successfully coached drivers of all ages from different countries and classes, such as Formula 2000, the Renault Clio Cup UK, Caterham Challenge, Ferrari Challenge, the Porsche GT3 Cup and in high profile series like the World Endurance Championship WEC. Track days is a place where he has shared his passion for driving around the world. Sebastian is also the Co Founder of Yacademy Track Days, a Telemetry Expert and bilingual.
As of the past few years Sebastian has also coached drivers in the GT3 Carrera Cup USA series with Level 2 racing from Porsche, a program campaigned by Mathey Racing in Europe. He coaches clients in a GT2 Clubsport RS here In the US. He recently spent time with Porsche testing the GT3 R and new 992 GT3 and regularly coaches drivers in GT4 Clubsports.
